Design thinking project

My group design thinking project was Tourism. We called the group the I.C.T. Adventures. And we wanted to organize the tourism issue in our country Suriname. We have several tour operators and everyone of them has theire own price and diffent kind of service, also different tours. Suriname is also less promoted in other countrys and that's what we wanted to focus on , and also to make it easy for tourists to look up our website that has been made in wix to find the beautyfull things of Suriname.


The 2 hats I choose are Yellow and Red

Yellow Hat: I focus on the benefits that Suriname will have with our project, how we can also promote it and where we can use it for.The project must be good and also it has to be unique. We don't want to be or do the same thing as others. It should be different and classy as well. Everyone in the group is working hard on creating something nice. We talk about every idea in the group app of tourism.

Red Hat: Before agreeing on any idea I ask myself will it work? Is it an option?Should we go with it? And than I make a decision that yes we can try or no can't we do something else? Sometimes the idea is so super cool that I say yes without thinking and asking myself so many questions. There isn't so much discussion because we collaborate good and respect eachother idea and feelings. We also help eachother with idea's.

I have created a Facebook account and also a page on it. The account name is" Promoting Suriname "and the page name is" Suriname the Exotic Beauty". I came up with the names and the others of the group liked it and also gave some suggestions. It is a group account and everyone of the group has access to it. I have put some pictures of my trips to the prestine forest, and also a video of a sula that I had filmed myself in de account.

 

In wix , our website http://promotingsuriname.wix.com/promotingsuriname I have uploaded some pictures in the adventures page. And also came up with names of places to go like restaurants,clubs,and places in the prestine forest. Honestly speaking I was really scared of putting pictures in the website because I didn't want to make mistakes or delete something one of the other had placed in it. My share of printing out the flyers and poster is srd 50,-.

Everytime we came together I was the group personel cook. I made some snacks or some diner for the group. And I think all of us gain some weight of all the food. Working together in the group is fun and we can also make fun of eachother without getting angry or fight. For the first time I worked  in a group that really works hard and everyone is cooperating in doing things together. We help eachother with ideas and one thing is special in this group that we can count on eachother. That's why I call the group "THE AMAZING SIX".
