When I look back at the beginning I thought I will quite this study. It all was so frustrated, we had to go through alot of things like: internet problems, aircondition problem, financial problems for me because one more expense came along. I have to buy every month $100 to pay up the study,and our salary is not much in Suriname.
The next challenge was making youre own blog. I had never made such a program on the internet before. The only program I use like everyday is Facebook and Google. Making a blog was like making mistakes again and again, but I didn't gave up. I went to look up what I wasn't doing correctly. And now it's still not like that professional but i'm trying out my best to do things on my blog correctly. I learn from my mistakes.
All the assignments that we have done with Prof. Fred were also pedagogy as well. For me I came most of the time in a time squize of doing the assignments. I sometimes fall asleep behind my laptop but still I want to go further to finish up the assignments.
What I have learned in module 1 is how to use a management tool that I didn't know about and yes i'm working with that and it's keeping me on track of my schedule. Also having a teambuilding, working into groups was also good. We called or whats app eachother to come together to look up the assignments, we helped eachother. The next thing was how to write a lesson plan in English, i'm not that good in English but I can help myself out of it. What change I want or something that I didn't like was sometimes you make youre assignments and don't get grades right away, it gives me a feeling like o my I must have done something wrong that's why I don't get grades. But I can really understand the Prof. it is not a easy job to be a teacher. You have so many things to do everyday, so i'm waiting patiently for my grades. I have learned alot and I want to finish up this study even when it's hard, i'm ready for every challenge.
Now that module 2 has also ended I came to know much more about working in a group and also working individual. I have learned really handy things like scamper, popplet, sketchup and making a website, going on research for information and also how to stay up to date about the new technology. Working in a group was really fun, we worked and also everytime we came together there was food or snacks one of us made or pizza. We also worked online in google docs and also skyped in a group. Going together on the road to search for information and also to get feedback from people about our project. The collaboration in the group was amazing. We came almost every week together and helped each other out or come with solutions. I was in the I.C.T. Adventures, the best group till now I've ever been with. I thank Prof. Padhu for his knowledge I have really learned a lot from his module and I also got an amazing group of six.
